A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOSTER CITY
APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE CALL FOR BIDS FOR THE STREET REHABILITATION PROJECT (2025-2026) (CIP301-726);
AND FINDING THAT THE PROJECT IS CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT PURSUANT TO THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA) SECTIONS 15301 – EXISTING FACILITIES AND 15061(B)(3)
CITY OF FOSTER CITY
WHEREAS, the Plans and Specifications for the Street Rehabilitation Project (CIP 301-726) have been completed and are ready for bid; and
WHEREAS, total funding in the amount of $2,228,263 is the approved project budget for CIP301-726, of which $228,263 of CIP City funds are supplied by San Mateo Foster City School Districts fees based on a Memorandum of Understanding for their development project which goes towards street rehabilitation projects; and
WHEREAS, construction for the street rehabilitation project is anticipated to begin in June 2026, and
WHEREAS, the project is categorically exempt under CEQA Sections 15301 – Existing Facilities and 15061(b)(3) pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foster City does hereby approve the Plans and Specifications and authorize the call for bids for the Street Rehabilitation Project 2025-2026 (CIP 301-726).
PASSED AND ADOPTED as a resolution of the City Council of the City of Foster City at the regular meeting held on the 20th day of January 2026, by the following vote:
