A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOSTER CITY
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A THREE-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH INFO-TECH RESEARCH GROUP INC. FOR IT RESEARCH AND ADVISORY SERVICES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $224,847.06
CITY OF FOSTER CITY
WHEREAS, the City’s IT Division requires specialized research, diagnostics, and advisory services to implement major projects efficiently and maintain alignment with industry best practices; and
WHEREAS, the IT Division has successfully partnered with Info-Tech Research Group Inc. over the past year under a prior agreement signed by the City Manager, making significant progress toward achieving the goals outlined in the IT Strategic Plan; and
WHEREAS, Info-Tech Research Group Inc. provides comprehensive IT research and advisory services through a subscription-based model, including executive coaching, contract reviews, vendor negotiation assistance, and onsite workshops; and WHEREAS, the City intends to utilize the included five-day onsite workshop in the first year to leverage Info-Tech’s assistance to build the requirements list for our upcoming Financial System Request for Proposals (RFP); and
WHEREAS, Info-Tech’s pricing is based on CMAS (California Multiple Award Schedule), and its services can be considered sole-source under FCMC 3.04.110 (B) and (G) and Government Code section 19130(b)(3); and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in the Information Technology Internal Services Fund (#504) to cover the purchase of these services in the current fiscal year, and funds for subsequent years will be budgeted in those years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foster City hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute a three-year agreement with Info-Tech Research Group Inc. for IT Research and Advisory services in an amount not to exceed $224,847.06.
