RESOLUTION NO. __________
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOSTER CITY REVISING SALARY RANGES FOR VARIOUS MANAGEMENT POSITIONS IN PUBLIC WORKS;
APPROVING A REVISED JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE BUILDING/FLEET MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT; AND ADOPTING THE AMENDED PAY PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026
CITY OF FOSTER CITY
WHEREAS, the City implemented a Classification/Compensation study in June 2023; and
WHEREAS, the Administrative Services Director has been evaluating the history and actions taken and recommends one final action to close out the 2023 Compensation study; and
WHEREAS, the Compensation Study used market analysis but did not perform an internal equity analysis prior to implementation; and
WHEREAS, compensation best practice recommends market analysis, internal equity and compaction analysis; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Foster City must approve the Pay Plan in order for the pay ranges to become effective.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Foster City does hereby:
1. Approve the revised salary ranges for the Public Works Maintenance Manager, Public Works Maintenance Superintendent, Building/Fleet Maintenance Superintendent and Fleet Supervisor as follows:

3. Approve and adopt the amended Pay Plan for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 effective July 1, 2025, attached hereto as Exhibit A.
