RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOSTER CITY
APPROVING THE FOSTER CITY COMMUNITY CENTER BUSINESS OPERATIONS
PLAN AS A GUIDING FRAMEWORK
CITY OF FOSTER CITY
WHEREAS, the City of Foster City has constructed a new Community Center intended to serve as a modern civic facility supporting recreation programs, community events, rentals, and partnerships; and
WHEREAS, the new Community Center requires a clear operational and financial framework to guide its management due to its size and complexity; and WHEREAS, the Community Center Business Operations Plan establishes such a framework and is intended to serve as a guiding document and does not authorize specific agreements or pricing actions; and
WHEREAS, issuing Requests for Information allows the City to gather market information and assess interest related to potential private-public partnerships prior to any future City Council action; and
WHEREAS, the Business Operations Plan identifies certain program areas where Requests for Information may be used as an administrative tool to gather market information prior to any future City Council consideration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foster City does hereby approve the Foster City Community Center Business Operations Plan as a guiding operational and financial framework.
PASSED AND ADOPTED as a resolution of the City Council of the City of Foster City at the regular meeting held on the 17th day of February, 2026, by the following vote:
