City of Foster City, California
Honoring Dr. Jonathon Lee on His Retirement
WHEREAS, Dr. Jonathon Lee has dedicated his professional career to serving the children and families of Foster City through his longstanding commitment to pediatric oral health since finishing his Pediatric Dental and Orthodontic Residency at the UCLA Center for Health Sciences and Medical Center in 2000; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Jonathon Lee has earned the respect and gratitude of countless families as a trusted pediatric dentist and orthodontist, providing compassionate, high-quality care that has supported the health, confidence, and well-being of generations of young residents; and WHEREAS, for over 25 years, Dr. Jonathon Lee has served as one of the few Dual Board Certified Pediatric Dentists and Orthodontists in the country; and WHEREAS, when not serving the local community, Dr. Jonathon Lee served in professional state, district and national dental organizations and was the President of The California Society of Pediatric Dentistry from 2018-2019; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to recognize the lasting legacy of the Lee family dental practice; and
WHEREAS, the continuation of this practice across generations reflects an enduring commitment to excellence, community partnership, and the health of Foster City's children and families; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Jonathon Lee's retirement marks the conclusion of an extraordinary chapter of service and provides an opportunity for the City of Foster City to express its sincere appreciation and gratitude.
NOW THEREFORE, 1, ART KIESEL, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF FOSTER CITY, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY COUNCIL, do hereby recognize and thank Dr. Jonathon Lee for being an integral part of the Foster City community through his many years of dedicated service from his pediatric dental practice, and extends its very best wishes for a happy, healthy, and fulfilling retirement.
