Mission Statement: The Foster City Youth Advisory Committee shall exist as a citizens’ group to advise and respond to the City Council in all matters related to the needs of the youth in Foster City and to promote teen involvement in the community.
Our Goals for 2026 are:
To continue to be leaders for the teens in the community To enhance individual members’ personal skills in leadership and in service
To continue to serve charitable organizations
To organize a resource fair for teens in Foster City to drive youth engagement through local volunteer and learning opportunities To collaborate with nonprofit organizations and local businesses to amplify and build off existing food insecurity measures
