A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOSTER CITY
AUTHORIZING THE TWO-YEAR EXTENSION OF THE EXISTING AGREEMENT FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES (AUDIT/ACCOUNTING SERVICES) WITH BADAWI & ASSOCIATES FOR FY 2025-26 AND FY 2026-27 FINANCIAL STATEMENT AUDITS AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES FOR A TOTAL OF $52,930 PER YEAR, INCLUDING
OPTIONAL SERVICES, IF REQUIRED
CITY OF FOSTER CITY
WHEREAS, the City of Foster City is required to have its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report audited each fiscal year by an independent certified public accountant; and
WHEREAS, Badawi & Associates has provided said services to the City under an Agreement for Professional Services since April 3, 2023, and WHEREAS, the City desires to exercise its option to extend the Agreement for an additional two (2) years based upon satisfactory services provided by Badawi & Associates, and
WHEREAS, the fees to be charged to the City for the FY 2025-26 and FY 2026- 27 financial statement audits and associated services for a total of $52,930 per year, including optional services, if required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foster City does hereby approves the extension of the Agreement for Professional Services dated April 3, 2023 between the City and Badawi & Associates, for a period of two (2) years for the audit for FY 2025-26 and FY 2026-27.
PASSED AND ADOPTED as a resolution of the City Council of the City of Foster City at the regular meeting held on the 6th day of April, 2026, by the following vote:
