A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE ESTERO MUNICIPAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT AUTHORIZING THE TWO-YEAR EXTENSION OF THE
EXISTING AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES (AUDIT/ACCOUNTING SERVICES) WITH BADAWI & ASSOCIATES FOR FY 2025-26 AND FY 2026-27
FINANCIAL STATEMENT AUDITS AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES FOR A TOTAL OF $52,930 PER YEAR, INCLUDING OPTIONAL SERVICES, IF REQUIRED
ESTERO MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Estero Municipal Improvement District (District) is required to have its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report audited each fiscal year by an independent certified public accountant; and
WHEREAS, Badawi & Associates has provided said services to the District under an Agreement for Professional Services since April 3, 2023, and WHEREAS, the District desires to exercise its option to extend the Agreement for an additional two (2) years based upon satisfactory services provided by Badawi & Associates, and
WHEREAS, the fees to be charged to the District for the FY 2025-26 and FY 2026- 27 financial statement audits and associated services for a total of $52,930 per year, including optional services, if required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the Estero Municipal Improvement District approves the extension of the Agreement for Professional Services dated April 3, 2023 between the District and Badawi & Associates, for a period of two (2) years for the audit for FY 2025-26 and FY 2026-27.
PASSED AND ADOPTED as a resolution of the Board of Directors of the Estero Municipal Improvement District at the regular meeting held on the 6 th day of April, 2026, by the following vote:
