A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE ESTERO MUNICIPAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT REVISING THE BUILDING/FLEET MAINTENANCE
SUPERINTENDENT JOB DESCRIPTION
ESTERO MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, under general direction, the Building/Fleet Maintenance Superintendent plans, schedules, manages and supervises the programs and activities of the Building and Fleet Maintenance Division; manages and develops outside contracts, vendors, and project budgets; assures regulatory compliance and economy in all programs; coordinates assigned activities with other City departments and outside agencies; provides responsible and technical staff assistance; and performs duties as assigned; and
WHEREAS, the current qualifications in the Building/Fleet Maintenance Superintendent job description are primarily tailored to candidates with experience in fleet management and related services; and
WHEREAS, a revision of the job description is needed to also include experience in facilities and building maintenance which will broaden the applicant pool and ensure consideration of candidates with relevant expertise across both areas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the Estero Municipal Improvement District does hereby approve the revised job description for the Building/Fleet Maintenance Superintendent.
PASSED AND ADOPTED as a resolution of the Board of Directors of the Estero Municipal Improvement District at the regular meeting held on the 20th day of April 2026, by the following vote:
