A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE ESTERO MUNICIPAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT AMENDING THE MASTER FEES AND SERVICE CHARGES SCHEDULE FOR FY 2026-2027 AND FY 2027-2028
ESTERO MUNICPAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors adopted a Master Fees and Service Charges Schedule; and
WHEREAS, adjusting the Master Fees and Service Charges will provide an updated reflection on the cost recovery of providing services to the District’s customers; and
WHEREAS, the proposed fees do not exceed the reasonable cost of providing services to the public; and
WHEREAS, a Notice of Public Hearing has been published and posted and said public hearing was held on April 20, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors finds that the proposed fees reflect the cost recovery of providing services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the Estero Municipal Improvement District hereby:
1. Finds that adjustments in Master Fees and Service Charges are necessary to reflect the cost recovery of providing services.
2. Directs staff to automatically increase the FY 2026-27 Master Fees and Services Charges Schedule for inflation according to the User Fee Study to create the FY 2027-28 Master Fees and Service Charges Schedule effective July 1, 2027.
3. The attached FY 2026-27 Master Fees and Services Charges Schedule (Exhibit A) shall become effective on July 1, 2026.
PASSED AND ADOPTED as a resolution of the Board of Directors of the Estero Municipal Improvement District at the Regular Meeting held on the 20th day of April, 2026, by the following vote:
