JOINT USE AGREEMENT FOR JOINT USE FACILITIES AMENDMENT
THIS AMENDMENT is made and entered into this day of May 4, 2026, by and between the CITY OF FOSTER CITY/ESTERO MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, hereinafter called “CITY/EMID”, and the SAN MATEO FOSTER CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT, hereinafter called “SCHOOL DISTRICT.”
The CITY and SCHOOL DISTRICT entered into a joint use agreement dated April 23, 2023, with a term from May 1, 2023 through April 30, 2026.
The CITY and SCHOOL DISTRICT agree to extend the term of the April 23, 2023 agreement by two months through June 30, 2026. In June 2026, a new agreement will be brought forward to both the CITY and SCHOOL DISTRICT. The CITY and SCHOOL DISTRICT intend to extend the Joint Use Agreement by another three years and have the new agreement aligned with both the CITY’s and SCHOOL DISTRICT’s fiscal years of July to June. Approving this amendment enables the CITY and SCHOOL DISTRICT to complete suggested edits to the Joint Use Agreement and enables the agreement to be aligned with our respective fiscal years.
