A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOSTER CITY AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH OPENGOV INC.
FOR A 3-YEAR AND 4-MONTH SUBSCRIPTION TO THE OPENGOV BUDGETING SOFTWARE IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $154,523
CITY OF FOSTER CITY
WHEREAS, the City requires software to support budget development, financial reporting, and fiscal analysis; and
WHEREAS, the City currently utilizes the OpenGov software platform for budgeting and financial reporting purposes; and
WHEREAS, OpenGov is a proprietary software platform, and continued use of the system is necessary to maintain continuity of financial data and established budgeting processes; and
WHEREAS, the agreement provides a multi-year subscription and support services for the OpenGov software platform; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in the Information Technology budget (account 504-0160-419-4246) to cover the cost for FY 2025/26, and funding for subsequent fiscal years will be requested through the annual budget development process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foster City does hereby authorize the Mayor to execute an agreement with OpenGov, Inc. dated June 1, 2026 for a multi-year subscription, for the period of June 1, 2026 through September 30, 2029, to the OpenGov software platform, in an amount not to exceed $154,523.
