RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOSTER CITY
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH CDW
GOVERNMENT LLC FOR THE PURCHASE OF MOBILE DATA COMPUTER (MDC) REPLACEMENTS FOR POLICE PATROL CARS IN THE AMOUNT OF $67,339.23
CITY OF FOSTER CITY
WHEREAS, the Mobile Data Computers (MDCs) used in the police vehicles have reached the end of their useful life; and
WHEREAS, MDCs can be classified as an important tool for the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, City Staff evaluated demo units for replacement of the MDCs; and WHEREAS, the City Staff released a Request for Proposals to solicit bids for replacement of the MDCs; and
WHEREAS, the only proposal submitted was from CDW Government LLC; and WHEREAS, funds are budgeted in the Information Technology Replacement Fund (Account 504-0160-419 4388) for FY 2025-2026 for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foster City does hereby authorize the Mayor to execute an agreement to purchase Mobile Data Computer (MDC) replacements for Police patrol cars from CDW Government LLC in an amount not to exceed $67,339.23.
PASSED AND ADOPTED as a resolution of the City Council of the City of Foster City at the regular meeting held on the 15th day of June, 2026, by the following vote:
