Meghan Wishner recapped the recent ICSC Conference that city representatives attended in Las Vegas and reported some of the meetings that took place with various land owners and businesses.

ACTION: Move to Approve the Introduction and First Reading of the attached Ordinance approving a Notice of Exemption in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and approving Code Amendment No. 22-01 to remove section 21.10.050(a)(2)(I) from the Fountain Valley Municipal Code (FVMC) which includes a sunset date of July 16, 2021 for the allowance of permanent outdoor display and sales for grocery stores over 14,000 gross square feet and big box warehouse retail stores over 130,000 gross square feet.

COUNCIL MEMBER ITEMS FOR FUTURE CONSIDERATION
Mayor Pro Tem Constantine requested that a change be made in the verbiage as it relates to Fountain Valley Crossings Specific Plan - Application and Review Process. There was no second. The next request was to a running list of council projects proposed for future consideration be maintained on the city website, on the city council page and being updated twice per month. Council Member Grandis suggested the city council discuss that at the upcoming Strategic Plan meeting on the gth Council Member Grandis requested a Proclamation recognizing June as Pride Month. Second by Mayor Harper. Another request was for a future discussion on campaign contributions over $500 that relate to outside elections of current City Council Members be posted on the City Website. Second by Council Member Constantine.
