CITY MANAGER / MAYOR UPDATES
City Manager Maggie Le spoke about community service day on April 22nd, Advisory for the Persons with Disabilities Dance on Friday April 28th, Rotary honoring the School Teachers of the Year on May 2nd and City Hall will be closed on April 21st.
Mayor Constantine spoke about the new signals with protected left hand signals now. The bridges at Brookhurst and Ward are scheduled to re-open in late May / early June, The Warner Bridge will re- open in late June and the Newland Bridge will re-open in late July.

April 12 Watched the FV Planning Commission Meeting on the City's website.
April 13 Attended the FV Chamber of Commerce GAC Meeting (Government Affairs Committee Meeting) at Sonesta Suites, then attended the FV Friends of the Library Board Meeting at the FV Library, and later attended the grand opening / ribbon cutting for Sassy Salon at 18946 Brookhurst and presented them with a certificate on behalf of the City.
April 14 Attended the GWRS (Groundwater Replenishment System) Final Completion Dedication at the OC Water District at 18700 Ward Street and presented them with a certificate on behalf of the City, then stopped by the Movie for Senior Citizens at the FV Community and Senior Center. The movie was "Elvis" April 15 Stopped by the Free Compost Giveaway Event at the FV Sports Park - at Frontage Road, then attended the grand opening / ribbon butting for Elite CCW and Firearm Training at 18183 Euclid and presented them with a certificate on behalf of the City. Later, I assisted with t-shirt preparation and distribution at the Fountain Valley Community Foundation Charity Poker Tournament Fountain Valley Community and Senior Center.
April 16 Attended the Measure HH Oversight Advisory Committee Meeting at FV City Hall.
April 18 Attended the "Most Improved Student" Rotary Meeting at the FV Community and Senior Center and presented 3 students certificates on behalf of the City.
