Councilmember Parra called the meeting to order at 3:02 p.m.

3. GENERAL ADMINISTRATION
City Manager
A. CONSIDER Adoption of a Resolution No. 2854 Approving the City of Fowler Public Safety, Street and Infrastructure Maintenance, and Essential City Services Transactions and Use Tax Ordinance, No. 2026-07, which would establish a OneHalf Cent (0.5%) Transactions and Use Tax; Calling a General Municipal Election on November 3, 2026 for the Purpose of Submitting this Ordinance to the City’s Voters; Requesting that the Fresno County Board of Supervisors Consent and Agree to the Consolidation thereof with the Statewide Election to be held on the same date; Requesting Election Services from Fresno County; and Directing Related Actions and Allowing the City Manager to Execute any and all Documents and to make any Changes or Corrections as May be Required.
Staff Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 2854 approving submission of Ordinance No. 2026-07 to the voters on November 3, 2026, General Municipal Election.
Councilmember Kazarian made a motion to approve as amended.
