RESOLUTION NO. 2022-XX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FREMONT
AMENDING THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE FOR SPECIAL EVENTS
CITY STAFF CHARGES
WHEREAS, on March 1, 1994, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 8672 establishing the City’s Master Fee Schedule, which sets forth fees, rates and charges for goods and services provided by the City of Fremont. Resolution No. 8672 has been amended from time to time to adjust and add new fees, rates and charges for goods and services provided by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City’s Master Fee Schedule sets forth fees for specific services provided by the Police Department, including fees related to special event regulations; and
WHEREAS, service fees and categories were last updated in 2019, and City staff recommends revising special event staff charge categories to align with services provided by the City; and
WHEREAS, Fremont Municipal Code Section 12.25.120 authorizes the City Council to set permit fees for special events by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, based on information set forth in the staff report to the City Council dated February 8, 2022, as well as any other information submitted to or considered by the Council during its deliberations on this matter, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FREMONT RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Special Event Staff Charges on the Master Fee Schedule (Article 1.
General and Miscellaneous, Section 001.00000.3390 C) shall be amended as set forth herein:

C. Special Event Staff Charges: The following rates shall adjust automatically as negotiated increases for applicable bargaining units become effective. • Police (Officers/Sergeant) $93.78/hr
• Police Other (CSO/Dispatch/Reserve) $66.45/hr
• Fire - Medic $61.42/hr
• Fire - Inspector $117.04/hr
• Maintenance Employees (Public Works/Community Services) $59.49/hr • Public Service Assistants $25.00/hr
SECTION 2. The Master Fee Schedule (adopted by Resolution No. 8672 and amended from time to time, including by this Resolution) shall be kept on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be effective July 1, 2022. On the effective date of this Resolution, all resolutions, which conflict with this Resolution, shall be repealed without further action by the Council.
