MAYOR MEI REFERRAL: Requesting Adoption of a Resolution to Update Council Assignments to Outside Committees, Commissions, and Boards to appoint Vice Mayor Salwan to Southern Alameda County Geographic Information Systems Joint Powers Authority (SACGIS JPA) and to update information on the attached exhibit.
BACKGROUND: On March 9, 2021, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2021-10 designating Council assignments to outside committees, commissions, and boards Council assignments are for a two-year period. The purpose of tonight’s proposed resolution is to update the Council assignments to appoint Vice Mayor Salwan to the Southern Alameda County Geographical Information Systems Joint Powers Authority (SACGIS JPA). All other assignments are unaffected by tonight’s proposed action. However, the attached spreadsheet (Exhibit A) has been updated to reflect changes to contact information, meeting frequency and/or stipends for the various entities.
