RESOLUTION NO. 2022-XX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FREMONT
APPROVING A FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE EMPLOYMENT
AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fremont entered into an Employment Agreement with City Attorney Rafael E. Alvarado, Jr. on January 12, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to amend the Employment Agreement to provide the City Attorney a cost of liv ing wage increase in the amount of five percent ( 5%), commensurate with the wage increase provided to management employees in FY 2022/2023, as set forth in the Memorandum of Understanding between the City and the Fremont Association of Management Employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Fremont authorizes the Mayor to execute the First Amendment to the Employment Agreement with the City Attorney to provide a cost of living wage increase in the amount of fiv e percent (5%), in a form to be approved by the City Attorney’s Office.
