RESOLUTION NO. 2022-XX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FREMONT APPROVING THE NEGOTIATED TERMS AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING, INCLUDING THOSE TERMS,
BETWEEN THE CITY OF FREMONT AND THE FREMONT POLICE
MANAGERS’ ASSOCIATION (F PMA) FOR A THREE-YEAR PERIOD,
EFFECTIVE JULY 31, 2022 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2025
WHEREAS, the Fremont Police Managers’ Association (“FPMA”) and the City of Fremont (“City”) desire to continue their bargaining relationship as governed by the California Government Code Section 3500 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, the parties have met and conferred in good faith in accordance with the requirements of California Government Code Section 3500 et seq.; and WHEREAS, such meetings have resulted in negotiated tentative terms (“negotiated terms”) to be included in a three-year Memorandum of Understanding for the period of July 31, 2022 through June 30, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fremont as follows:
Section 1. The City Council approves the negotiated terms, as outlined in the staff report dated September 6, 2022, and incorporated herein by this reference, for a Memorandum of Understanding covering employees who are represented by the Fremont Police Managers’ Association.
Section 2. The City Council authorizes the City Manager to execute a three-year Memorandum of Understanding effective July 31, 2022 through June 30, 2025, including the negotiated terms, and to implement the Memorandum of Understanding.
