Guidelines for Public Comment during Open Communications and Agendized Items Attending in person/Observe the meeting: The publicwill have the opportunity to attend in person orobserve the meeting viaLive Streamor view the BoardMeeting via Fremont Comcast Cable, channel 26(and 1084). Please note the live meeting will NOTbe streamed on Zoom, however, remote publiccomment is available (see below on how to listen in and how to provide public comment by phone).
Provide public comment:Public comment will be acceptedfrom those attending in person and fromindividuals participating remotely by phone during the live meeting.
1. In Person: Members of the public may attend a meeting in person.● To enter the building, please check in at the North Entrance (this is the entrance nearest tothe Board Room).● Please arrive early as you will need to properly check in with reception due to safety andCOVID concerns.● There may be limited seating.● Meetings are held at the District Office, 4210 Technology Drive CA 94538.● The district will default to its regular practice of community members completing the publicspeaking card which will be available on meeting day.
2. By phone:● Dial: 1 669 900 9128, Webinar ID: 836 8072 3649Passcode: 504741● To comment by phone, you will be prompted to “Raise Your Hand” by pressing “*9” torequest to speak when Public Comment is being taken on the eligible Agenda Item.● When it is your turn to speak, the last four digits of your phone number will be called by theAdministrative Assistant. You will then be unmuted, during your turn, and allowed to makepublic comments. After the allotted time, you will then be re-muted.● Instructions for Joining-a-meeting-by-phone can be foundhere.
3. By Audio (Zoom is only being used for audio publiccomments.)● You may provide public comment by joining with an Internet connected device (tablet,computer, phone, etc.). Please note, this method servesas a one way communication. Thepublic will be able to provide comments however, the public is unable to to hear or havedialog with Trustees.
