A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FREMONT

AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AGENCY-

STATE MASTER AGREEMENTS WITH THE CALIFORNIA

DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION IN ORDER TO RECEIVE

FUNDING FOR STATE AND FEDERAL-AID FUNDED PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the City of Fremont is eligible to receive Federal and/or State funding for certain Transportation Projects through the California Department of Transportation (“Caltrans”); and

WHEREAS, Caltrans generally requires that the City enter into Master Agreements, Program Supplement Agreements, Fund Exchange Agreements and/or Funds Transfer Agreements with Caltrans, prior to receiving any funds for City-approved projects.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FREMONT RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. The City Council authorizes the City Manager or designee to execute all Master Agreements, Program Supplement Agreements, Fund Exchange Agreements and/or Funds Transfer Agreements, and any other funding documents and amendments thereto with the California Department of Transportation.
