THIS EXTENSION is made and entered into this 24th day of January 2023, by and between the City of Fremont ("City"), a municipal corporation, and Alameda County Fire Department ("ACFD"), a dependent fire district.

RECITALS
A. On February 1, 2013, City and ACFD entered into an agreement for ACFD to provide professional emergency dispatch and regional communication services through the Alameda County Regional Emergency Communications Center Services to City ("Original Agreement").

B. On March 7, 2018, City and ACFD extended the Original Agreement for an additional five year term from February 1, 2018, to January 31, 2023.

C. City and ACFD desire to extend the Original Agreement for an additional five month term from February 1, 2018 - January 31, 2023, to February 1, 2018 - June 30, 2023.

AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, City and ACFD agree that the aforementioned recitals are true and correct and further agree as follows:

1. The term of the Original Agreement, including a five-year option to extend, is extended for an additional five month term commencing February 1, 2023, ending June 30, 2023.

2. The Services and Cost of Services set forth in Section 11 of the Original Agreement are the same for the term of this extension.

3. This extension does not relieve the parties of the terms and conditions of the Original Agreement as written and in effect at the time the Services were rendered.

4. Except as amended above, the Original Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.

In concurrence and witness whereof, and in recognition of the mutual consideration provided therefore, the parties have executed this agreement, effective on the date first written above.
