Background Information:
Why do you wish to serve as a member of this Board or Commission:
We have lived in Fremont for 27 years. We have raised 5 kids in this city, including sports and recreational activities. We are physically active and have been involved in the community in various ways.
I have served on the Fremont National Youth Baseball and the Fremont Football League boards as are kids were growing up and I coached baseball, football, and soccer teams.
We hike the hills and trails and have put in numerous miles of hiking, running, and riding the Alameda Creek trail over the years.
We came to Fremont 27 years ago because of its small-town feel, which at the time was hard to find in the Bay Area.
As city populations continue to grow across California, I'd love to be a part of helping Fremont keep that vibrant small-town feel. I have looked forward to giving back to the community once our kids were grown, and since we are at that crossroads, I would love to use my education and experience to help the city of Fremont and its residents.
