1. Opening
Call to Order: Mayor Mei called the meeti ng to order at 5:30 p.m.
Flag Salute: Councilmember Campbell led the salute to the flag.
Roll Call: City Council: Present: Mayor Mei, Vice Mayor Shao, Councilmembers: Campbell, Kassan, Salwan, and Cox.
Councilmember Keng arrived at 5:50 p.m.
FUSD Board: Present: President Zhang, Vice President Sweeney, Clerk Jones, and Board Member Coco.
Absent: Board Member Prasad and
Student Board Member Balaji.
2. Approval of Minutes for the February 5, 2024 Joint Meeting.
On a motion by Councilmember Salwan, seconded by Councilmember Campbell, the City Council and FUSD Board approved the minutes for the meeting of February 5, 2024.
Ayes: Mayor Mei, Vice Mayor Sha o, Councilmembers: Campbell, Kassan, Salwan, and Cox, President Zhang, Vice President Sweeney, Cler
k Jones, Board Member Coco
Noes: None
Absent: Councilmember Keng, Board Me mber Prasad and Student Board Member Balaji

3. Oral Communications

4. Engineering Expo: Information and Presentation
Donovan Lazaro, City of Fremont Economic Development Director, gave a presentation, along with Corey Brown, FUSD Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and Nate Ivy, FUSD Instructional Coach. Staff responded to questions from Councilmembers and Board Members.
There were no public speakers. Councilmembers and Board Members provided comment.
5. Internship Fair - Informational Update
Leticia Salinas, FUSD Instructional Services Assistant Superintendent, shared a presentation and responded to questions from the group. There were no public speakers. Councilmembers and Board Members provided comment.
6. Budget and Facilities Update
Superintendent Cammack shared a presentation and responded to questions. Councilmembers and Board Members provided comment. There were no public speakers.
7. Staff, School Board, and City Council Communications
No communications shared by Staff, Board Members nor Councilmembers. Mayor Mei opened a public comment period. The following person commented: Kelly Abreu. There being no additional speakers, Mayor Mei closed the public comment period.
