Guidelines for Public Comment during Open Communications and Agendized Items
Attend in person/Observe the meeting: The public will have the opportunity to attend in person, observe the meeting via Live Stream on the Fremont USD website, or watch it on Zoom.
Provide public comment: Public comment will be accepted from those attending in person and individuals participating remotely by phone during the live meeting.
1. In-Person: Members of the public may attend a meeting in person. ● To enter the building, please check in at the North Entrance (The entrance nearest to the Board Room).
● There may be limited seating.
● Meetings are held at the District Office, 4210 Technology Drive, CA 94538. ● The district will default to its regular practice of community members completing the public speaking card, which will be available on meeting day.
2. By phone:
● Dial: 1 669 900 9128, Webinar ID: 897 5174 4535 Passcode: 447571 ● To comment by phone, you will be prompted to “Raise Your Hand” by pressing “*9” to request to speak when Public Comment is being taken on the eligible Agenda Item. ● When it is your turn to speak, the executive assistant will call the last four digits of your phone number. During your turn, you will be unmuted and allowed to make public comments. After the allotted time, you will be re-muted.

3. By Zoom
● You may provide public comment by joining with an Internet-connected device (tablet, computer, phone, etc.) by registering through the Zoom Webinar link: Please click on this link to register/join the Zoom Webinar
● To comment by video conference, click the “Raise Your Hand” button to request to speak when Public Comment is being taken on the eligible Agenda item. When it is your turn to speak, the Board President will call on you. You will then be unmuted and allowed to make public comments during your turn. After the allotted time, you will then be re-muted. Please note that members of the Board and City Council may exercise their discretion regarding the time for each public comment, depending on the number of Comments received.
