CALL TO ORDER & WELCOME BY THE MAYOR
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Salwan at 6:37 p.m.
Present: Mayor Salwan, Councilmembers: Campbell, Kimberlin, Shao, Zhang, and Liu Staff Present: City Manager Shackelford, City Attorney Alvarado, Assistant City Manager Briggs, and City Leadership Team.
CITY OF FREMONT FISCAL YEAR 2025/26 PROPOSED OPERATING BUDGET
Finance Director, David Persselin provided a summary and overview of the City of Fremont’s current financial status and proposed budget and priorities.
CITY OF FREMONT UPDATES
Mayor Salwan provided updates on park, capital improvement and key infrastructure projects, as well as
an update on the City’s latest affordable housing initiatives and successes.

CLOSING REMARKS
Mayor Salwan provided closing remarks and invited the public to attend the City’s 2025 State of the City Address which will take place on June 18, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Downtown Event Center.
