RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FREMONT APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF FREMONT
AND THE FREMONT ASSOCIATION OF MANAGEMENT
EMPLOYEES (FAME) FOR A TERM EFFECTIVE AUGUST
10, 2025, THROUGH JUNE 30, 2026
WHEREAS, the Fremont Association of Management Employees (FAME) and the City of Fremont (City) have expressed a desire to continue their bargaining relationship as governed by the California Government Code Section 3500 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, FAME and the City have met and conferred in good faith in accordance with California Government Code Section 3500 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, such meetings have resulted in an agreement of a successor Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the period of August 10, 2025, through June 30, 2026.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fremont as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council approves the tentative agreement reached with FAME for a successor MOU, the terms set forth in the staff report dated August 12, 2025 and incorporated herein by this reference.
SECTION 2 . The City Council authorizes the City Manager to execute a successor MOU with FAME effective August 10, 2025 through June 30, 2026, and to implement the successor MOU.
