RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FREMONT ADOPTING SALARY SCHEDULES FOR CITY
EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, the City Manager is authorized to set, approve and amend employee salary ranges as part of a citywide Salary Schedule pursuant to Fremont Municipal Code Section
2.25.210; and
WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 20636 and California Code of Regulations Section 570.5 require that salary schedules be publicly available and be approved and adopted by the City Council at a public meeting; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fremont’s (“City”) salary schedule is currently available on the City’s publicly accessible website; and
WHEREAS, annual adoption and approval of the City’s salary schedule in compliance with Government Code Section 20636 and California Code of Regulations Section 570.5 will ensure proper reporting to CalPERS for retirement benefit purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FREMONT RESOLVES that the Salary Schedule attached hereto as Exhibit A is approved and adopted.
