A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO, CALIFORNIA, IN SUPPORT OF BRYN FORHAN’S REAPPOINTMENT TO THE SAN JOAQUIN RIVER CONSERVANCY BOARD WHEREAS, the San Joaquin River Conservancy is a regionally governed agency created to develop and manage the San Joaquin River Parkway; and WHEREAS, the California Public Resources Code governs the appointment of members to the San Joaquin River Conservancy Board, and each voting member shall serve a four-year term; and Whereas, Bryn Forhan has served on the Board as the City of Fresno’s resident representative, and is currently the Chair of the Board; and Whereas, the resident representative is appointed by the Governor from a list of candidates submitted by the City Council; and WHEREAS, the Council supports the reappointment of Bryn Forhan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fresno as follows:
1. The Council shall submit Bryn Forhan’s name to Governor Newsom for reappointment, pursuant to California Public Resources Code 32515.
