Briefly explain why are you interested in serving on this board or commission? I have a strong and continued interest in workforce development. I believe that helping people enter the workforce for the first time, and increasing the skillsets of underemployed people are two of the most direct and important ways we can can improve the local economy.

In addition to being an owner or partner in several businesses that employ over 100 people combined, I currently serve as the CEO of the Fresno Chamber of Commerce. I have demonstrated many years of engagement around workforce and economic development. I'm also a current member of the board of the Fresno County EDC and am the incoming chair of the CSUF alumni association.
