ID 22-563 BILL - (for introduction) - Amending the Fireworks Ordinance, FMC sections 10-55602.2 to 10-55602.4, to add liability for "social hosts" and increase the fine structure of the fireworks ordinance. (Subject to Mayor's Veto) eComment: Thank you Fresno Fire for proposing some practical action the city can take to address ILFW. I urge all council members to support our first responders and back them up as much as possible with this updated ordinance! Kudos to all of you for getting this on the agenda before summer, too. I think this update will go a long way to help #fixfireworksinFresno.

my dog suffers for the whole time fireworks are active. pacing, howling, crying and barking. a ball of fear. please no more. fireworks belong in public arena's, not public streets. please ban private fireworks. thanks, stephen turkfeld
