Briefly explain why are you interested in serving on this board or commission? I am interested in serving on the Civil Service Board because I believe fairness and impartiality is critical in the process of evaluating employee issues. As a retired State of California Employee, I have seen the importance of the Civil Service Board. There are many issues that need to be addressed and evaluated, and subsequently presented the convening authority.

I have served in the Armed Forces for 9 years. As a Non-Commissioned Officer, I was tasked with the evaluation and training of subordinate personnel during war and peace-time era. I am a structured and disciplined leader and evaluator. As a Parole Agent II, I was tasked with the responsibility of the supervision of released felons, as well as their reintegration back into society. As a local business owner, I am keenly aware of the expectations and adherence of State Laws and local ordinances.
