FY 23 Budget Expansions
Department Notes

1. OT request above base is significantly decreased versus FY22, due to the new driver positions added.

2. Paratransit contract with NEXT requires an increase over base budget to fulfill contractual obligation.

3. Fresno City College Measure C pass-thru grant is rebudgeted for FY23, due to COVID-related project delays.

4. As a recipient of FTA funding, the Department is required to adhere to 49 CDR Part 26 to ensure non-discrimination in the award or an administration of US DOT assisted contracts. Therefore, the FAX pays for a portion of the DBE Coordinator position located in General Services Department.

5. Utilities expense projections are based on PG&E’s anticipated 20% rate increase.

6. Oil and lubricant expense projections include inflationary price increases.
