Cedar Avenue Intersection Enhancements (District 4)
Benefit Cost Ratio Category – Up to $1.75 million
• Cedar Avenue and Shields Avenue Intersection
o Install retroreflective backing on signal heads and advanced stop bars on all approaches • Cedar Avenue and Fountain Way Intersection
o Install pedestrian-scale lighting, High-intensity Activated crossWalK (HAWK), and high- visibility crosswalks
Central Fresno Pedestrian Countdown Heads (Districts 1, 3, 4 & 7) Pedestrian Crossing Enhancements Set-aside Category – Up to $250,000 • Install pedestrian countdown heads at various intersections along the following roadways:
o Ashlan Avenue: Valentine Avenue to Peach Avenue
o Shields Avenue: Palm Avenue to Temperance Avenue
o Clinton Avenue: Blythe Avenue to Gateway Boulevard
*Pedestrian equipment within these limits awarded funding in prior grants will be excluded
