A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE PLANNING AND
DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR TO UPDATE THE
TEXT, POLICIES, MAPS, TABLES, AND FIGURES CONTAINED IN
THE WEST AREA NEIGHBORHOODS SPECIFIC PLAN
DOCUMENT TO REFLECT THE FINAL ACTION TAKEN BY CITY
COUNCIL, TO THE EXTENT THAT SUCH UPDATES ARE
NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN CONSISTENCY
WHEREAS, the City of Fresno (City) has prepared a West Area Neighborhoods Specific Plan document which contains the narrative, goals, policies, maps, tables, and figures necessary to fully describe the required components and clarifying details of the plan; and WHEREAS, on August 18, 2022, the Planning Commission of the City of Fresno considered the West Area Neighborhoods Specific Plan and Final EIR SCH No. 2019069117 and recommended approval of the same to the Council of the City of Fresno; and WHEREAS, on August 18, 2022, the Council of the City of Fresno heard staff presentations and public comment regarding the West Area Neighborhoods Specific Plan and Final EIR SCH No. 2019069117; and
WHEREAS, on August 18, 2022, the Council of the City of Fresno completed deliberations and took action on the West Area Neighborhoods Specific Plan and Final EIR SCH No. 2019069117; and
WHEREAS, changes to the West Area Neighborhoods Specific Plan require clerical updates to the text, policies, tables, maps, and figures contained in the Fresno General Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fresno as follows:
1. The Director of the Planning and Development Department, or her designee, is hereby authorized to update the text, policies, table, figures, and maps contained in the West

Area Neighborhoods Specific Plan to reflect the final action taken by the Council of the City of Fresno to the exten_t such changes are necessary to maintain consistency.
2. The Director is fully authorized to update the text, policies, tables, maps, and figures contained in the West Area Neighborhoods Specific Plan in order to correct typographical or clerical errors that are identified after adoption.
3. This resolution shall be effective upon final approval.
