Briefly explain why are you interested in serving on this board or commission?
I would like to bring my life experience of being a person with a disability to the FCTA along with the knowledge that I have obtained through serving on the Measure C Executive Committee. I would like to be a voice for the community and will do so by listening to the needs of the community and letting this guide me in my decision making.

Briefly explain your qualifications or areas of demonstrated expertise for this board or commission.
I have served on the City of Fresno’s Disability Advisory Commission’s Transportation Sub -Committee since 2016. During this time I have consulted on many transportation projects for the City of Fresno.
This includes advising on contracted paratransit services, accessibility/usability of Ticket Vending Machines, TVM for the BRT, future bus purchases, serving on the Executive Committee for Measure C, and more. I am a person who is blind and must use public transportation, but have the lived e xperience of being a driver as well, so I am equipped with the understanding of the needs of drivers.
