Parking Survey Methodology
• Questionnaire was distributed to 679 addresses in the parking district area in November of 2021
• 122 surveys were returned = 18% response rate
• Survey purpose: further refine parking district
boundaries and hours of enforcement
Parking Survey Methodology
• Anonymity – Survey did not ask for addresses. This
limited our ability to map out responses by address.
However we were able to map them out by street.
• Data Interpretation - In spite of the limitations, and combined with staff observation of the area, the data
indicates that respondents who live farther away from
the VA Hospital are less likely to experience parking
congestion.
