OEM Refurbishment and Repair Proposal
Good Day Duane and Chris,
Thank you for allowing JM Squared & Fairbanks Morse the opportunity to quote repairs on the subject unit. As such, we are pleased to propose the following:
Fairbanks Morse 30” Figure C5741 Pump
S/N: 1398095 Rotating Assembly
• Receive and Offload Pump Rotating Assembly in our Kansas City KS Repair Facility Located at 3601 Fairbanks Avenue, Kansas City, KS.
Inbound Freight, Coordination, and Logistics by JM2 Included
• Disassemble All Pump Rotating Assembly Components
• Blast Clean Components as Necessary
• Inspect All Components for Correct Sizing, Fit, and Finish Per OEM Specification
2 • Provide Comprehensive Factory Inspection Report
• Replace the following OEM Components:
o Shaft sleeve
o Pump shaft
o Impeller wear ring
o Front head wear ring
o Bearings
o Misc. Gaskets, Lip Seals, and Hardware (as needed)
• The Following Components are Considered to be Reusable:
o Base
o Impeller
o Impeller hardware
o Volute
o Frame
o Front head
o Back head
o Bearing housing
o Mechanical seal*
o High Ring Base
o Motor Coupling*
• Dynamically Balance Impeller
• Assemble the Pump Rotating Complete
• Prepare Unit for Shipment to Destination, Outbound Freight Included.
• Travel to jobsite for pump installation and start up (door to door). o Field Service and Supervision Provided from OEM Factory Plus Local Certified Representative
o Trip Includes Two (2) Technicians and Three (3) Days on-Site o Fresno to be Responsible for Providing Crane for On-Site Removal and Re-Installation (Push/Pull)
o Fresno to be Responsible for Disconnect and Re-Connection of Electrical, Motor, and Controls
Parts & Equipment: 178,517.00
Labor: 29,000.00
Freight: 22,000.00
Total Lot for (1) Pump Repair: $229,517.00
3 Notes/Clarifications:
• No Sales Taxes Included (Applicable to Pump Components Only - Labor and Freight Non-Taxable)
• Estimated Lead Time ARO:
o FOB Fresno to Kansas City, KS: 1 Week
o Factory Disassembly/Inspection: 2 Weeks
o Parts Delivery: 10-12 Weeks
o FOB Kansas City, KS to Fresno: 1 Week
o Total Estimated Lead Time: 14-16 Weeks
• Quotation Validity: Until December 10, 2023 (Pump must be in Kansas City Shop prior to December 10, 2023)
• Payment Terms: 100% - Net 30 After Delivery
• “*” Fresno to Confirm Coupling and Mechanical Seal Condition Prior to Return Shipment
