RELATIVE TO SUBDIVISION APPEAL HEARING TIMELINES

The Planning and Development Director hereby initiates Text Amendment Application No.
P23-02808, pursuant to Fresno Municipal Code Section 15-5803.A.1. This action to initiate an amendment to the text of the Fresno Mu nicipal Code for appeals th at must be heard upon receipt of the notice of filing an appeal for subdivisions from 30 days to 45 days is a result of a recent change in Section 66452.5 of the Subdivision Map Act (SMA).
Text Amendment Application No. P23-02808 proposes an amendment to Section 15 - 3314.E of the Fresno Municipal Code, updating language relative to the required hearing date, upon receipt of the notice of filing an appeal for subdivisions, from 30 days to 45 days consistent with the recent change in Section 66452.5 of the SMA.
This action is only to initiate the processing of a text amendment and does not constitute a favorable or unfavorable recommendation by the Director.
