NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT NO. P24-01100
AND
TEXT AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. P24-01100
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Fresno City Council , in accordance with Sections 15 -4902 and 15- 5810 of the Fresno Municipal Code and in accordance with the procedures of Article 50, Chapter 15, of the Fresno Municipal Code, will conduct public hearings to consider the items below, filed by the City of Fresno.
At the hearings, the following will be considered:
1. Environmental Assessment No. P24-01100 recommends adoption of a finding that it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that this project will have a significant effect on the environment pursuant to the common sense exemption set forth in CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3).
2. Text Amendment Application No. P24 -01100 recommends adoption of a text amendment that would amend Section 15-2706, 15-6704, and 15-6802 of the Fresno Municipal Code relating to use regulations for alcohol sales, Commercial Use Classifications, and Definitions. *The above documents are available for public review via e -mail (noted below) and within the upcoming City Council agenda. At this time, the documents are available for review in person at Fresno City Hall by appointment only. Please contact the Planner identified below for additional information.
The City Hall C ouncil Chambers will be open to the public for C ity Council hearings. Any interested person may also appear electronically, by either Zoom meeting or telephone with instructions provided on the City Council Agenda, at the public hearing and present written testimony, via an eComment or by email to [email protected] (cc [email protected]), or speak in favor or against the project proposal. All documents submitted to the City Council for its consideration prior to or at the hearing shall be submitted to the City Council at least 24 hours prior to the Council agenda item being heard, pursuant to the City Council rules and procedures, or they may be excluded from the administrative record of proceedings.
If you challenge the above applications in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues, you, or someone else, raised at the public hearings described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Development Services Division of the Planning and Development Department and/or City Council at, or prior to, the public hearing. The Fresno City Planning Commission considered this application at its meeting on May 1, 2024.
NOTE: This public hearing notice is being published in the Fresno Bee pursuant to the requirements of Fresno Municipal Code Section 15-5007.
