Mayor and Council:
I am writing to express Grocery Outlet’s support for the proposed amendments to the municipal code regarding liquor license requirements for grocery stores. The proposed amendments aim to streamline the process and not act as a deterrent for new grocery store locations or relocations.
Grocery Outlet has multiple locations in the City of Fresno and our stores employ hundreds of residents.
We consider the City, and the residents important partners to our business and are essential to our continued long-term success in the community. We look forward to providing value and fresh local products to Fresno for many years to come.
We strongly support the amendments and believe that these changes will significantly contribute to the economic vitality and overall well-being of the community. Again, we urge the City Council to approve.
