WHEREAS, the City of Fresno’s 311 Call Center serves as a vital connection between residents and city services, providing accessible, efficient, and responsive non-emergency assistance to the community; and
WHEREAS, by addressing concerns, answering inquiries, and facilitating service requests with professionalism, courtesy, and dedication, the 311 Call Center is committed to enhancing quality of life; and
WHEREAS, the 311 Call Center’s hardworking and knowledgeable staff plays an essential role in ensuring residents receive timely and accurate information. They assist customers with issues such as waste management, street maintenance, graffiti removal, and other essential City services; and
WHEREAS, exemplifying the City of Fresno’s commitment to transparent governance and outstanding customer service, the 311 Call Center ensures that every resident’s service request is efficiently addressed; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fresno recognizes and appreciates the 311 Call Center’s invaluable contributions. The dedication and service of its employees enhance community engagement and strengthen the connection between the City and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we, Mayor Jerry Dyer and Members of the Fresno City Council, do hereby proclaim Thursday, March 13, 2025, to be:
“City of Fresno 311 Call Center Day”
