The city of Fresno needs every center of The Homeless Housing, Assistance, and Prevention grant to meet homeless housing, assistance, and prevention needs in our community. We know there isn’t enough money to cover those needs. The Housing Elemen progress t shows that the needs for permanent housing are great. At the HHAP 6 virtual community meetings, this was listed as the number one priority among those polled. As well, there are many other needs, such as interim housing, rapid rehousing, and so forth.
I am concerned that this funding is being used by the city attorneys/ code department and what the usa e and oppose any usage that isn’t making the needs of our unhoused.
We
need every dollar of funding to go to the highest priority needs of those how are unhoused
