The purpose of the project is to install approximately 3,230LF of fiberglass reinforced polymer mortar pipe, approximately 1,420LF of steel casing and manholes. To safely transport the 11.5 million gallons of daily wastewater to the Fresno-Clovis Regional Wastewater Reclamation Facility.

The project consists of the replacement or reconstruction of existing utility systems and/or facilities involving negligible or no expansion of capacity; emergency repairs to publicly or privately owned service facilities necessary to maintain service essential to the public health, safety or welfare, emergency repairs include those that require a reasonable amount of planning to address an anticipated emergency; Furthermore, the staff has determined that none of the exceptions to Categorical Exemptions set forth in the CEQA Guidelines, Section 15300.2, apply to this Project.
