A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRESNO, CALIFORNIA, TO ADOPT THE CITY OF FRESNO
VISION ZERO ACTION PLAN
WHEREAS, on September 18, 2022, by Resolution No. 2022-183, the City Council authorized the submission of a grant application to the United States Department of Transportation Safe Streets for All program for the development and adoption of a Vision Zero Action Plan; and
WHEREAS, on April 18, 2024, the City Council approved a professional consultant agreement with TDG Engineering, Inc., and affiliate of Toole Design Group, LLC., for the development of a Vision Zero Action Plan; and
WHEREAS, on April 23, 2026, city staff presented the developed draft Vision Zero Action Plan to City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fresno as follows:
1. The City Council finds the adoption of the City of Fresno Vision Zero Action Plan is in the best interest of the City of Fresno.
2. The City Council hereby adopts the City of Fresno Vision Zero Action Plan.
3. This resolution shall be effective upon final approval.
