OPEN SESSION
ID 26-833 ***RESOLUTION - Establishing the Commission on Family Affordability and Childcare Access (Subject to Mayor’s veto)
Upon call, the following members of the public addressed Council: Fabiola Gonzalez, Linda Gleason, and Brooke Frost.
Council discussion was held.
Council Vice President Maxwell motioned to appoint Council President Esparza, and Councilmember Perea to the commission.
Council Vice President Maxwell motioned (#1) to pass this resolution as a grant of $3.5 million to First Five of California to generate child care within the City. (PARCS)
RESOLUTION 2026-128 ADOPTED
On motion of Vice President Maxwell, seconded by Council President Esparza, that the above Action Item be ADOPTED. The motion carried by the following vote:
