•FAT closed out the calendar year (CY) 2025 with its highest passenger volume on record, from 2.6 million to 2.7 million, a 2.97% increase over the previous year.•International travel saw even greater growth, rising 3.25% over the prior year.•Passenger growth is expected to continue into calendar year 2026, but at a moremoderate pace, with boardings projected to remain largely in line with levels seen duringthe same period in 2025. Therefore, FY 2027 enplanements are forecast to experienceslower growth.•In 2026, the Airport anticipates higher airline revenues driven by additional terminal spacerentals, along with increased non-airline revenues from concessions, rental car activity, and parking demand. At the same time, airlines nationwide are experiencing slowergrowth and implementing selective flight reductions in response to broader economicconditions.•Airlines have a limited tolerance for year-over-year cost increases above 3.00%, theproposed budget reflects results a 4.20% overall increase in airline rates.•Because FAT has historically performed well compared to similar markets, airlines areexpected to maintain service where feasible. Even so, a weakening economicenvironment or continued escalation in operating costs could lead carriers to adjustschedules or reduce service levels.J U N E 1 1 , 2 0 2 6 M A Y O R ' S P R O P O S E D B U D G E T F Y 2 0 2 7 Airports DepartmentCommunity Outreach Highlights8
