Security Fence Improvements at Pump Stations 144, 165 and 174 Project I.D. WC00074
Contract Change Order No. 01 allows for the substitution of flat base plates to saddle base plates for anchoring to existing CMU wall.
During a pre-construction walkthrough, the client department requested to substitute the flat base plates for saddle base plates to ensure a solid connection between new fencing toppers and existing CMU wall, as there may be hollow spots throughout.
Funds are available in the project account to cover the cost of this contract change order.
Staff has reviewed this work and recommends approval of this change order.
There will be no change in the contract time by this Change Order.
We request your approval of Contract Change Order No. 01 on behalf of the City.
