Invited the public to join Beautify Fresno and District 7 for a community cleanup at Holmes Playground on Saturday morning. Noted two active lawsuits seeking to prevent placement of the measure on the ballot. Reported that the fate of Measure “C” is likely to be determined by the judicial system. Clarified that only one tax measure currently appears on the ballot: the City’s backstop tax, which will be removed if Measure “C” ultimately appears on the ballot and passes.

Commented on the short notice of the previous day’s special meeting and reiterated a commitment to maintaining fiscal solvency for the City, stating that financial outcomes should be decided by residents rather than left to judicial processes.
